Years of Expience
Pool Care in West Palm Beach Does Not Take a Winter Break
A pool in West Palm Beach never closes for the winter. The water stays warm, the sun stays strong, and hurricane season runs from June through November, right in the middle of swim season. If you are looking for pool services that can handle all of that, you need a team that knows what storms, heat, and falling leaves do to a pool here.
Tobia Pool Care is a licensed contractor with more than 24 years of hands-on experience. Our office is in Lake Worth, just south of West Palm Beach, and we clean, maintain, and repair the pool you already have. We do not build new pools. Our pool care service covers homes and commercial properties from Downtown to the South End, and from Flamingo Park to Northwood.

Complete Pool Care, Repair, and Restoration
Here is what we handle, from a noisy pump to a worn-out surface. Each service is for the pool you already own.
Pool Equipment & Pump Repair
Few things spoil a busy week like a dead pump. Before it quits, most pumps drop hints: a louder motor, weaker flow from the returns, or water that will not hold its balance. Call when you notice one. We repair pumps and motors, service sand, cartridge, and DE filters (including grid replacement and backwashing), and work on gas and electric resistance heaters, salt systems, automation, and suction-side, pressure-side, and robotic cleaners.
Pool Repair Services
A leak does not always leave a puddle. A pool that needs refilling more often than the weather explains is a better clue. We track the leak down with leak detection, then repair it. The same team handles structural cracks, stains, acid washing, plumbing, and replacement of skimmers and main drain covers.
Pool Inspections
Booking an inspection before a busy stretch gives you time to fix problems on your own schedule. The 17 points include pumps, filters, skimmer baskets, timers, pressure gauges, circulation, chemical balance, structure, and safety compliance. The report lists urgent items first and leaves the rest as a to-do list for later. Buyers and sellers use it, and so do owners who just want to know where things stand.

Pool Remodeling & Restoration Services
If your pool appears outdated or worn, Tobia Pool Care provides remodeling and restoration services to renew your outdoor space—without requiring a complete new installation.
Pool Resurfacing
A pool surface does not last forever. Sun and chemicals roughen it, stains set in, the color fades, and small cracks start to show. Resurfacing lays down a new, smooth finish and protects the shell beneath it. If the tile needs replacing as well, doing both in one project can keep the pool out of use for a single stretch instead of two.
Deck & Patio Renewal
The deck gets wet feet, direct sun, and constant foot traffic. Cracks and faded patches make the yard look worn and can trip someone up. We renew the deck and patio to give the area a safer, fresher surface.
Modern Tile & Coping
Chipped tile and dated coping stand out because they sit right at the waterline. We update both for a cleaner, more current look. It is a natural companion to resurfacing when the pool needs both.
Pool Equipment Upgrades
Older pumps and filters can use more power than current models. We install energy-efficient pumps and improved filtration to help lower running costs, and we can add heaters or automation. If your existing equipment still works well, we will tell you to keep it.
Authorized Pentair and Jandy Dealer
Tobia Pool Care sells and installs Pentair and Jandy equipment as an authorized dealer. That includes pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems, and we keep servicing them after installation. One team finds the failed part and puts in the new one.
Water & Lighting Features
Waterfalls add sound and movement. LED lighting extends pool time into the evening. Both can be added to a pool you already own, and we help you choose features that suit its size and style.

Enhance Your Pool Experience
Beyond repairs and restoration, we offer services designed to improve the overall enjoyment and functionality of your pool.
Shape & Design Modifications
A pool that no longer matches how you use your yard can be reshaped instead of replaced. We modify the shape and design for a more modern layout or a better use of space.
How West Palm Beach Weather and Neighborhoods Change Pool Care
Storm season lands in swim season
Hurricane season and peak swim season run at the same time in West Palm Beach. An afternoon storm can dilute chlorine, shift pH, and wash debris and phosphates into the water, so it is smart to test and rebalance within 24 hours of heavy rain. Power cuts are the other risk. A pump that stays off for a few days in August can be enough to turn a pool green. If your pump or heater will not restart when the power returns, call us for a repair visit.
Shady streets in Old Northwood
Old Northwood has more than 300 historic structures along shady, tree-lined streets north of 25th Street, between Broadway and Flagler Drive. Shade is pleasant, but leaves and palm fronds end up in the water, where they can stain the pool finish and feed algae. Regular skimming and pool filter cleaning keep that debris from building up.
Historic homes in El Cid and Flamingo Park
Flamingo Park is known for Mediterranean Revival and Mission-style homes. El Cid sits on the Intracoastal just south of Downtown and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These are high-value homes, so when one with a pool is bought or sold, a pool inspection gives both sides a clear report on the equipment, plumbing, and surfaces.
Downtown and the South End
Downtown has condominium towers near Clematis and Rosemary Square, and the South End has deeper lots and newer homes. Property managers Downtown can ask about our commercial pool service. South End homeowners whose pump or heater is showing its age can ask about an inspection or an equipment upgrade.
Why West Palm Beach Pool Owners Call Tobia Pool Care
Owners call us for 24+ years of hands-on experience, a 4.8 rating from 69 Google reviews, and contractor license CPC1458826, which is easy to check. We are an authorized Pentair and Jandy dealer, so repairs and upgrades come from the same team that cleans your pool. We repair and maintain pools, and we do not build them, so our advice is about keeping your current pool working. As a swimming pool service company with a contractor license, we keep weekly visits and repairs under one roof.
One review of pool companies in the West Palm Beach area describes a company that closed without telling anyone, which left the pool without service for a month. Ask any company how it schedules visits and how it will reach you if something changes. You are welcome to ask us the same questions.
Weekly Pool Cleaning and Maintenance Service
A weekly pool service is for owners who want clear water without spending the weekend with a net and a test kit. Visits focus on pool cleaning, skimming, chemical balancing, and keeping an eye on your equipment, so small changes are caught before they turn into algae or pump trouble. Monthly visits are also available, and the right schedule depends on your pool.
This is residential pool service built for how pools are used here: all year, with heavier debris and bigger chemical swings in summer. If you want a swimming pool cleaning service that can also repair the equipment it flags, you get both from one company. Our pool cleaning service and pool maintenance service follow the same idea as good swimming pool maintenance in general: steady pool upkeep is easier on your pump and heater than waiting for something to fail. Ask us what pool cleaning and maintenance service fits your pool, and we will explain what each visit covers.
Commercial Pool Service
A pool used by guests, tenants, or customers has to stay clean, safe, and compliant. Our commercial pool service covers pool cleaning and maintenance for commercial pools across Palm Beach County, so the water stays clear and the pool meets standards.
How Working With Tobia Pool Care Goes
- Call or send the form. Tell us what the pool is doing: green water, a loud pump, or a water level that keeps dropping.
- We suggest the right service. We talk through what your pool needs. For an inspection, we run the 17-point check.
- You get a free quote. We explain what needs attention now and what can wait.
- We do the work. That may be a cleaning visit, a repair, or an upgrade.
- We keep it running. Many owners choose weekly service, and we recommend a full equipment inspection at least once a year.
Areas We Serve
Our work is centered on West Palm Beach, and we also serve Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Wellington across Palm Beach County. In each of these areas, we handle weekly pool cleaning, equipment repair, inspections, and upgrades for the pool you already own, for both homes and commercial properties.

FAQS
FAQ
Are you one of the pool companies near me in West Palm Beach?
Our office is in Lake Worth, just south of West Palm Beach, and we serve all of West Palm Beach, including Downtown, El Cid, Flamingo Park, the South End, and Northwood. We also serve nearby Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Boynton Beach. Call (561) 867-6657 to confirm service at your address.
How much does pool service cost in West Palm Beach?
The price depends on the size of the pool, its condition, its equipment, and how often you want service. A weekly plan and a one-time repair are priced differently. We do not post one flat rate, because two pools rarely need the same work. Request a free quote and we will price your pool.
What should I do with my pool after a heavy storm?
Remove debris, test chlorine and pH within 24 hours, and rebalance the water. Then check that the pump restarts once the power is back. Do not drain the pool on your own, because an empty pool can be damaged by ground pressure. If the pump or heater will not start, or you are unsure what to do, call us.
How do I choose between pool cleaning companies near me?
Ask for the license number. Ask what each visit includes, how visits are scheduled, and how the company contacts you if something changes. Then read recent reviews. Our license number is CPC1458826, and we hold a 4.8 rating from 69 Google reviews.
Do you service both residential and commercial pools in West Palm Beach?
Yes. We provide residential pool service for homeowners and commercial pool service for properties where guests, tenants, or customers use the pool.
